Here are some brief minutes from tonight's HOA meeting, held on August 4, 2010, 7pm - 7:30pm at the Purcellville Train Station.

    * Attending:

          o Dan & Judy Shaughnessy
          o Scott Harris
          o Norm Schwanke
          o Pam Newcomer
          o Connie Varmecky
          o Julie Polizotto
          o Phil Wolfe
          o Tom Ziemnick
          o Jeanine Donlon
          o Cathy Pouliot
          o Diane Poston
          o John Hildebrand
          o Bernard Ogletree
          o Jim & Betty Wiley
          o Harry Kidder
    * Quorum was met.
    * Cathy presented the finances, which are now on the web site for reference.
    * Scott Harris, Tiffany Whalen, Dan Shaughnessy, and Cathy Pouliot were nominated for the open positions on the board
    * All four of the above were elected unanimously by a show of hands
    * Dr. Wiley presented news and events on the happenings around town
    * C.J. McDaniel is our Purcellville Police Dept representative for our neighborhood.  Please contact him if you need any questions answered pertaining to police matters.
    * After the meeting, the board elected the following officers:
          o Tiffany Whalen - President
          o Dan Shaughnessy - VP
          o Cathy Pouliot - Treasurer
          o Scott Harris - at large

Thanks to all who came to the meeting.  It has been my pleasure to serve as your president.  I will make sure we have a smooth transition to our new president, Ms. Whalen.
